AIM AND OBJECTIVES:-
- To develop the individual through instruction and example to realize their full potential as a sportsman / woman.
- To emphasize the importance of honesty, and integrity and the value of good sportsmanship.
- To identify and encourage those with the potential to get further training and possibly represent our state or country.
- To provide accurate information regarding the athletic development of children in order to insure the child has the opportunity and full sporting potential.
- Promote the advantages of physical activities in terms of health, nutrition and social well being.
Sports / Games offered by the school are: Basketball, Football, Cricket, Badminton, Throw ball etc.
Events organized by Sports Club in 2015
Cricket Tournament: On 22nd and 23rd April 2015
The Sports Club organized the Inter-House Cricket Tournament. The budding cricketers were carefully coached and selected by Sir Cedric. The cricketers displayed their skills in the field in the midst of the cheering audience. Red House emerged as the winner of the Tournament. DipojyotiMahapatra was the Best Player of the Match.
The Sports Club also organized a Field Day for the Supportive Staff of our school on 27th April.

Sports play a vital role in the student’s life. Sports develop discipline, the spirit of sportsmanship, and the qualities of team spirit and leadership among the students. The sports calendar in 2023 -24 once again was full with a wide range of sporting opportunities for the students.
Some of the sports events/activities were:-
- On 5th August, an Inter House chess championship for the students of class V – VII was organized. Yellow House was the champion – Yashvardhan Katjhare.
- On 29th August, (National Sports Day) the school organized a friendly Football match – Class IX & X Vs XI & XII. Winners – class XI & XII. Tug of war competition for classes VIII-XII. Inter-class karate competition for classes V - VII
- On 8th November, an Inter House Basketball tournament for the senior students was held. Green House was the champion. Best Player : Arnav Lal.
- On 13th December our school organised an Annual Athletics Meet.
- On 15th January sports club students went to Premanada Ashram, Boarding School at Chamrusai for Christmas outreach programme.
- On 19th January an Inter House chess championship for students of class I – IV was organized. Champion of class I & II was Green House – Aarush Dey (Class II). Champion of class III & IV was Red House – Adrij Chakraborty (Class III)
- On 8th April our school participated in the inter-school sub-division CAB under-15 cricket tournament – we were champions & also performed well in the inter-district cricket tournament.
- Our school team participated in the CISCE Regional Athletic meet in Kolkata. Our Senior girls won Bronze Medals in the relay. Aishwarya won two silver medals and was selected for the national to Bengaluru.
- On 24th June, The school team participated in the CISCE Regional Chess Championship in Kolkata and we were champions, and selected for nationals.
- Our students also participated in the Regional Karate & Cricket Tournament & performed well.
- On 9th September our school students participated in the inter-school athletics meet (IIT Kharagpur)
- On 7th January our students participated in the Inter School Chess Championship at Boi Mela at Girimaidan, Kharagpur. Our team A was Champion and team B was 2nd runner up.
The students practiced Athletics, Football, Cricket, Badminton, etc. during the game’s periods, holidays, Saturdays, and daily before any tournaments. May the school sports activity continue to establish a spirit of sportsmanship in every moment of our lives.
