Welcome to the official website of St. Agnes Higher Secondary School. Our objective is that it will become an important source of school news and timely information to students, parents and all stakeholders. St. Agnes School, Kharagpur started in January1951, is an English medium school administered by the Sisters of the Apostolic Carmel. It is a Catholic School registered under the Apostolic Carmel Educational Society of West Bengal. It is also under the jurisdiction of the Roman Catholic Bishop of Calcutta.

A Catholic School is a learning community which has Christ as its central motivational force. His values as expressed in the Beatitudes are summed up in the virtues of love, sincerity, justice and freedom which permeate the ethos of the school.

School Hours Nursery 8.30 a.m. to 11.45 a.m.
KG I & II 8.30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Classes I to XII 7.55 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Office Hours
Daily : 8.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
Saturdays : 8.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m.

Meeting the Principal
Monday to Thursday : 8.30 a.m. to 10.00 a.m.
Fridays & Saturdays : by appointment only.

Pre-Primary Headmistress
Monday & Tuesday : 8.00 a.m. to 9.00 a.m.
Wednesdays : 11.00 a.m. to 12 noon.
Thursday & Friday : 9.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m.
ADMISSION & WITHDRAWAL

At St. Agnes we encourage students to develop their skill. We have vareity of clubs Like Science Club , Literary Club , Sports Club , Music Club and many more. We also try to make our students socially responsible so we event camp,scouts culbs and other social welfare activities.

Mission: Our Mission is to create a conducive environment with dynamic practices ingrained with values to ensure holistic development of every individual by our empowered facilitators.
a) The classes in school are from Nursery to class XII. Information regarding admission to Nursery is published on the notice board by October.
b) After the completion of Preparatory (Nursery to KG II) every student will have to apply for re-admission into class I. This is only for those who are already given admission either in Nursery, KG I or KG II.
c) New candidates must be introduced personally by their parents/guardians who will be responsible to the Principal for their conduct and fees.
d) The admission form must be filled in with the utmost possible accuracy. Authentic birth certificate should be produced.
e) A candidate who applies for KG II and above should have a Transfer Certificate from the school last attended; it should be of a Recognized School.
f) Before withdrawing a student from the school a calendar month’s notice is to be given and the next term fees and annual fees in lieu of notice.
g) No School Leaving Certificate will be issued until all dues have been paid in full and, only on receipt of a written application from the parent or guardian.
h) A fee of Rs. 150/- will be charged for the Transfer Certificate.
