Activities of the club and its members:
- Through videos posted on the WA group, members were exposed to a variety of nature documentaries, highlighting both plant and animal life.
- Members gave classes 1 through 9 a quiz on nature. Classes 1-4 participated in the final quiz rounds. Through this activity, the participants learned how to run quiz programmes, create quiz questions based on different age levels, and, because they had to acquire information from the internet, learnt a lot of new things about nature.
- With the capable assistance of Kharagpur Explorers Association, the club successfully organised a three-day Nature Camp that included trekking and rock climbing to Bansa Hills, Purulia. This project involved 32 students from grades 8 and 9 as well as 3 teachers. The school's student fraternities, parents, and teachers all expressed gratitude for this.
The club pledges to carry out its mission of raising awareness of environmental issues and each member's responsibility to protect it, as well as to bring students closer to the natural world and develop a love of it.
